SOUL RATIO:
This is an experimental project consisting of sub-projects. One is very common, a three light projecting device that is constructing shadows of different colours at the same time. In this case I used elementary colours which are red, green and blue, and put them in such positions for which there will be three distinct shadows for one object and one single core shadow in the overlapped area. Now coming to the concept, I call these shadows soul divisions as of the multiple different coloured visual representation of one object or person. I think a person’s personality has many sides, shades and colours, which in most cases left unexplored by many. It takes a lot of time, maybe a lifetime to reach and know ourselves truly from the core. Understanding oneself from the bottom is a self-exploration journey. A journey we can call from one colour to another, until we reach the core colour, where everything is absorbed as well as everything is created from.
INSIDE DRIFT:
As the first part of the project showcases a fundamental understanding of self-exploration and gives a different perspective of one’s personality; it leads to the next new-media sculpture sub-project that shows a profound representation of finding different shades and parts of one self. As of the structure and technicalities, it’s a sculpture made of 3D printed models, plaster and wood with a display inside of it. The sculpture is of a man who is looking into his own body and soul and exploring different aspects of his personality. It’s like drifting into one’s own universe to know every shade of oneself.
