EXISTENCE OF IDENTITY

Mediums: Digital Photographs, 2D Animation

PASSING BODIES

What are we without our faces? What is our existence really means? Do our faces really have any value with respect to time? Aren’t we just bodies passing by through time? Just eating, bathing, working, and surviving for a while before getting vanished? Then what are the values of our bodies? What identity actually means in a very broad spectrum of time? A lot more questions popped up while I was looking for answers without knowing what I was actually looking for. Only  questions emerged in form of some street photographs.

FACES:

Even if for a while, for a blink of eternal time, our faces make a box, an identity for us. I think for these moments, importance of faces really matters. Well I’m not siding with Identity leaving eternity and vanishing stuffs though! I think we all know deep down, how much we try to live through our works, memories going to fade one day! Just seeing the pictures I ask, “Who are these people?” “Again, do their faces really matter after some 500 years or so?” For me, again only questions emerged in form of some street photographs.

Tenure of taking all these photographs: 2016 to 2021
